Which System is Right for You?
CSL Ladder Rack System
The CSL ladder rack system is constructed from non-corrosive materials capable of withstanding all manner of extreme environments and weather conditions. This versatile system fits a wide variety of vans, wagons, Utes and 4WD’s. Mounted to Rhino-Rack’s Heavy Duty Cross bars, the CSL ladder rack system is available in lengths from 2.6m/8.5ft to 4.0m/13ft and a variety of widths to allow for both extension and step ladders.
Key features of the CSL are the rear roller that allows for stress free loading and unloading, and the PVC guide strips on the inside of the aluminum rails that protect the ladder from any damage whilst it is safely loaded and secured. A RLS5 ladder strap is also included to secure the ladder to the Heavy Duty Cross bars.
Recommended maximum load capacity of 42kg/93lbs.
Multi-Slide Ladder Rack System
Like the CSL ladder rack system, the Multi-Slide ladder rack system is just as well known and a popular trade solution. The Multi-Slide is also offered in a wide range of lengths from 1.5m/4.9ft to 4.0m/13ft and is available in different widths to cater for both extension ladders and step ladders.
The Multi-Slide systems have a rear roller that allows for stress free loading and unloading to help guide the ladder on to the ladder rails which have several polypropylene plastic guides to protect the ladder. Also installed on Heavy Duty Cross Bars, a RLS5 strap is included to safely secure the ladder.
Recommended maximum load capacity up to 42kg/93lbs (35Kg/77lb for the 1.5m/4.9ft ladder rack).
OHS Ladder Loader
The OHS Ladder Loader allows you to load and unload either a step or extension ladder from your vehicle quickly, easily and safely. Australian designed and built, the Rhino-Rack OHS Ladder Loader aids in safety, significantly reducing the risk of a manual handling injury. It has also been designed in line with current Australian Work Health & Safety Regulations.
The OHS Ladder Loader is ergonomically designed using a combination of gas struts and structural grade materials to provide a one person, fast and simple way of lifting your ladder. Since the ladder is loaded and secured to the OHS unit at waist-level the risk of injury through climbing onto the vehicle to secure the ladder is eliminated.
Supplied with a ladder strap to secure the ladder in place and additionally a cable lock to prevent theft of the ladder. A variety of options are available for both extension & step ladders to fit both high roof (above 2.6m/8.5ft) and low roof (below 2.5m/8.2ft) vehicles.
Internal Ladder Rack System
The Internal Ladder Rack is a new interior ladder rack system that mounts to the underside of the roof in your van. It allows for ladders to be securely transported inside the vehicle without taking up valuable floor space while reducing the risk of theft of your ladder and keeps it out of the elements, clean, dry and ready for quick unloading at your next job.
The Internal Ladder Rack is height adjustable and can store a ladder up to a height of 1.8m. When not in use the hanging sections can be pivoted up towards the roof to increase the head clearance in the van.
Slide Out Ladder Loader
The Slide Out Ladder Loader is similar to the Multi-Slide ladder rack system however it features an additional slide out mechanism at the rear. This allows for easier access to your ladder and prevents damage to your vehicle during loading and unloading of the ladder.
The extension slide allows for the ladder rack to slide out past the rear of the vehicle to provide a pivot point which is further away from the body of the vehicle, onto which the ladder can lean and slide. The Slide Out Ladder Loader is recommended for SUV’s and Wagon’s to protect the ladder from damaging the rear of the car.
