HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR TOYOTA LANDCRUISER

THE HISTORY OF LANDCRUISERS

Reliable, attractive and ready for adventure – just a couple of reasons why the 4WDing community loves a LandCruiser (and so do we!). Initially designed as a Japanese military truck in 1951, it’s fair to say that the Toyota LandCruiser has come a long way since the very first Toyota Jeep BJ, which soon became a civilian-friendly model once rejected by the forces.

It wasn’t long after that (1958 to be specific) until the LandCruiser became the very first exported Japanese vehicle in Australia. Since then, driving enthusiasts around the country have flocked to the variety of LandCruiser models on the market, putting its well-known reliability to the test across rugged Australian terrain.

WHAT’S A 4WDING VEHICLE WITHOUT ACCESSORIES

Despite the vehicle's high rating (think off-road capability, towing capacity and the ability to withstand almost any terrain), you won’t get far with your 4WDing kit without a good set of roof racks and vehicle accessories. This is where we (Rhino-Rack), come in. Just like the vehicle itself, Rhino-Rack roof racks are tough and long-lasting. No matter what Toyota LandCruiser model you own, from the 50 series right up to the 300, you’ll find Rhino-Rack accessories to fit.

Jase Andrews from All 4 Adventure says, “Rhino-Rack is my Number 1 choice on all LandCruiser builds”.
